How to hide your personal details on Facebook?

Facebook is a way back medium of connection. It is a place where people store their private data, About them, their photos, hobbies and many of their personal details.

But if you are concerned about your personal details and privacy and you don't want to share it to anyone/friends then I advice you not share your private information with anyone such as mobile number and email address etc.  

But if you have already shared your phone number on Facebook to be notified of new posts, messages via SMS, etc. then you can restrict the access to your number.

To do so:

1.     Log-in to your Facebook account.

2.     You have to go to Settings then ‘Privacy Settings’.

3.      And under that go to ‘Who can look me up’ you will find the option ‘Who can look you up using the email address or phone number you provided?’

4.      Here change the setting from ‘Everyone’ to either ‘Friends of Friends’ or simply ‘Friends’.

5.     Confirm the dialogue box with ‘Close’.
