You can check the advisor’s profiles,

which mentions there area of expertise, 

their skills, 

what they have been doing, 

and how many years of experience they have and 

what they can advise you about. 

You can then connect with them and have your query resolved. You will have to sign-up using your LinkedIn Profile. You will find the list of advisor's from the dashboard or you can even search based on experience, expertise, location or sector. It work much better then cold-calling and you know that an advisor is present to reply to your query. 

After you have received advice, you will have to rate the advisor, which is a very important aspect of FounderMates.

Keep in mind that FounderMates is a closed platform and upon signing-up you will be asked a few questions after which your profile will be approved by administrators.
