                              Realizing the demands for online courses, several leading universities, including MIT and Harvard have launched online courses. The advantages of online of online learning are numerous, but selecting a course can be a task, as the same course can be offered by more than one University and the course curriculum could vary drastically.

               What you need then is a site that help you make an informed choice. CourseBuffet lists over 500 college courses from many providers and Universities. It enables users to discover and compare online learning resources from Universities around the world.   CourseBuffet  has created a classification system that clubs together similar courses offered by various sources. 




 The site has assigned a subject and level to every course, which are similar to the ratings followed by leading Universities. Clicking on a course number therefore lets you see which of the courses offered by other Universities cover the same subject.

          It provides information about the course, as well as additional information; you can see whether a particular course provides videos, audio or text books. 
 It also provides the links to the concerned Universities’ page.

            You can register on site or sign-in using you Facebook credentials. By creating an account, you will be able to save the courses and send others links of the same. Currently, the site shows results from various Universities such as MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, Saylor, Coursera, Udacity and edX.
