Customize Command Prompt
The black and white
command prompt looks so uncool and uninteresting. What if we can change the
total look of command prompt? Command line provides a lot of exciting and
interesting features and one of which is “Changing color of Command Prompt”.
The command to change
background and text color of DOS window in a snap is as follows:
1. Open
Command Prompt from Start.
2. Simply use “color bf” to change colors where ‘b’ is the code for background
color and ‘f’ is code for text color.
3. To know more color codes you can also type color /? at command line.
4. You can now
change the text color too after using the color /? Command just type color b0
and your text will be now in black color.
And this is it
you are there with a new funky customized command Prompt.
