If there is option such that you cannot check phone physically so better donot buy it.Apart from focusing on features you must thoroughly test it. Switch ON/OFF 4-5 times , Check for scratches , dent and Buttons feedback. ,Check for Water Damage Indicator strip that turns red if your phone is damaged with water. Also you must see to Phone Accessories i.e power adapter, charger cable, memory card socket , head phones.

Does SIM work properly? :

If you are unable to make a call or send a message from your phone it is of no use. So, please carefully check by insert a SIM card and a number. Instead of just dailing from your phone , make a call , talk to a person so you can confirm microphone and speaker volume. Also test it by sending a test message.

Check IMEI number :

It is most important that you don't buy a stolen or blacklisted phone. To make a confirmation you must know IMEI number. IMEI is your phone identification number, you can know it by dailing *#06# from your phone or check your IMEI number on www.imeidetective,com database. Actually is it not sure shot measure to validate because its database is so updated that it can track recently stolen phone.
