Adblock Plus-Surf The Web Without Annoying Ads!

ADBLOCK PLUS: Being on Internet is not just leisure and is more of a necessity. However, when it comes to focusing, many of us tend to flounder-there are just way too many distractions. The ads that vie for your attention on every page clog the space. And its creepy how targeted the ads can be.

If you use Firefox, Chrome or Opera, a simple and effective tool to get rid of adverts is ADBLOCK PLUS. Once installed, it blocks all the advertisements from the web page you are browsing. Its default ‘Easy List’ filter includes the filters for almost all kinds of ads.

In case you find any element on your website you want to block, you can block them by clicking on small ‘Block’ option. You can then add the said items in the list of things that ADBLOCK PLUS will filter. If for some reason you want the ads to be displayed, then you can easily do so by accessing the ADBLOCK PLUS add-on from ‘Tools’. It will provide you with options to either disable ADBLOCK for current page, the entire site or the overall session. In Facebook it even blocks the sponsored post and ads in the news feed, along with deleting those displayed on sides. By default, it allows non-intrusive ads to be displayed, but you can change this and choose to block them unchecking the option “Allow non-intrusive advertising” from “Filter Preferences.” You can also check simple Ad block that is available for IE, Chrome and Firefox.
