QR codes are all rage these days. While it’s a great tool for increasing accessibility to companies and products, it’s not uncommon to find individual flaunting their own QR codes.

VisuaLead allows you to create your own QR codes.

  • You will have to sign-up to the site to be able to create QR codes.
  • Clicking on the ‘Create’ option throws up several types of QR codes to choose from.
  • You can create QR codes with plain URLs, rich text, vCards, phone numbers, email addresses, applications or even for your Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Skype accounts.
  • Once you choose a type of code, the site will then guide you how to go about the process.
  • You can choose from the images available or add your own image to your code.
  • You can change the color and even decide what part of the image should contain the QR code. When creating a QR code, you will see two options: Silver and Gold. If you choose Silver, the site will preserve up to 54% of your image and if you choose Gold, then it will preserve up to 72% of your image.
  • After you select one of these options, click on next and your QR code will be ready to shared and printed.

This site allows you to edit the QR codes information whenever you wish. While it’s a great site to create visual QR codes, there is one hiccup: your free QR code is ad-supported and if you want to get rid of that then you will have to pay more than Rs 700/-.There is also a Chrome Visual QR Code Generator App that you can use.
