Internet is a global platform for sharing of data and information on World Wide Web and now it is transformed to an immense platform which became the hub place for everyone. It always proves to be the most healthy helper whenever anyone seeks for data but in some cases it’s unhealthy speed chucks us.

Microsoft reserves about 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC...
We have a way to get it back.
In this tutorial we will show you how to get back those 20% of your speed and utilize it totally in increasing our Internet speed.
For this you have to follow the below stated steps:

Step 1: Click Start then open Run and then type gpedit.msc as shown. This opens the group policy editor.

Step 2: Then go to Local computer policy in the left pane.

Step 3: There you will see an option stating “Computer configuration”, click on that and then hit on ‘Administrative templates’ there.

Step 4: The next option under it will indicate ‘Network’, go to that and click on “QOS packet scheduler”.

Step 5: On the right side we will have an option of “Limit Reservable Bandwidth”, double click on it.

The upcoming message states it is not configured, but the truth is under Explain tab i.e. "By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default"
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, so set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing rather than the default 20%.

This is it and you are done. Till then keep surfing.
