Most of the time it happens that we come across a website having a the solution to our problem or an exciting content but when we open it, we find that the website is down. In this case it becomes difficult to access the desired content.
Actually it’s not a big problem if we know that it’s easy to get the entire webpage which is listed in search result even when that webpage has been deleted or the web hosting is down by some reason. They save the cache version of the webpage which can prove helpful for the user incase user found the required page deleted.

How to get cache version of a webpage?

This is quite simple if you use a Google Search Engine, we will show you this with an example.

Suppose in Google Search Engine you came across a website like www.geekytrap.com , with an interesting post or may be solution to your problem as we mentioned above, but when you clicked for the next page the page is found deleted. In this case if you want to access the content then you have to copy the URL of that page. Once you got the URL of that webpage then to get the cache version follow the steps:

Step 1: Open www.google.com

Step 2: In the search box type as it is:
cache:copied_url_of_the_webpage (without double quotes).
Paste the copied URL by replacing "copied_url_of_the_webpage".

Step 3: Hit the search button.

In this way you can have access to any website whether it is down or the required webpage is deleted. Use the same string every time when you want to find web-cache version of any webpage.
